Sarbacker Hired as Genetic Services Intern for Accelerated Genetics (5/28/09)

Ben Sarbacker will join Accelerated Genetics for the summer as a Genetic Services Intern. Sarbacker will be responsible for selecting, fitting, and picturing sire daughters. He will also assist the Genetic Services Coordinator in organizing tours for domestic and international groups.

Sarbacker resides on his family's 55-cow registered Holstein Farm, Fischerdale Holsteins, in Verona, Wis. On his family farm he assists with milking and taking care of the show cattle.

This fall, Sarbacker will be a junior at the University of Wisconsin-Madison where he is majoring in Dairy Science. At school he is involved in the Badger Dairy Club and the University of Wisconsin-Madison Dairy Judging Team. Sarbacker is also an active member of the Dane County and Wisconsin Junior Holstein Associations.
