Accelerated Genetics is excited to announce Alicia Metz as a summer Sales and Service Intern in Region 12 for Southeast Minnesota. She will be providing relief A.I. breeding services along with reproductive consulting, and assist with area sales efforts.
Metz grew up on Metz's Hart-Land Dairy, her family's 200-cow farm, in Rushford, Minn., consisting of Holsteins, Jerseys, and Brown Swiss. On the farm, she assists with milkings, cares for fresh and sick cows, and maintains accurate computer records.
This fall, Metz will be a senior at Northeast Iowa Community College, where she is obtaining her Associate's Degree in Dairy Science. On campus, she serves as an officer for the NICC Dairy Science Club, is a member of the Alpha Lamda Delta National Honor Society, and is also on the Dean's List. Metz was also an active member of 4-H and FFA.
