Accelerated Genetics is excited to announce Carissa McCay as one of the Genetic Services Interns. McCay will be responsible for selecting, fitting, and picturing sire daughters. She will also assist the Genetic Services Coordinator in organizing tours for domestic and international groups.
McCay grew on her family's 80-cow, 80-acre, farm where they own registered Holsteins, Ayrshires, and Brown Swiss. She has also worked as a student office staff member at Purdue University.
This fall McCay will be a junior at Purdue University where she is pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Agribusiness Management. On campus, Carissa is a member of the Purdue Dairy Club and Purdue Circle K. She is also very active in the Indiana Junior Holstein Association, as well as the National Junior Holstein, Ayrshire, and Brown Swiss Associations.
