Accelerated Genetics recognizes the impact that the discovery of Arthrogryposis Multiplex (AM) has had on our customers and their breeding programs. In an effort to ease the economic impact, we have implemented the following policy.
1. Contact your local Accelerated Genetics representative and inform them that you wish to have the semen replaced on a AMC sire.
2. Accelerated Genetics will replace the remaining semen inventory in a customer's possession on any AMC sire that was marketed by Accelerated Genetics as of September 5, 2008*, with any available 014 stud code semen. (090 and 099 semen are not eligible).
3. Semen will be replaced on a straw for straw basis. For example, if the customer has 8 units of 014AN00250 Rito 2V1, we will exchange it for 8 units of their choice of available 014 stud code semen. No replacement will be given for semen that has already been used.
4. No credit will be given. This is simply a semen exchange policy.
5. The semen on the AMC bulls must be taken in exchange and thawed by the Accelerated Genetics representative. The thawed semen must then be returned to Accelerated Genetics.
