Accelerated Genetics is pleased to announce 014HO04511 Andacres Morty
Onward. In the last sire run he broke onto the scene as a high
production, high type, high TPI bull and now with much improved
reliabilities he maintained or improved on virtually all traits.
Onward is +2047 TPI which earns him the #4 spot on the Top 100 TPI list with
+2282 milk, the highest milk among the top five bulls. Along with milk
he also has good components being +56 protein and +96 fat and high type
(+3.14 PTAT, +2.75 UDC and +1.70 FLC).
Onward was bred by
Allen and Lorraine Andrews of Gillett, Penn. He is a Morty son out of
a VG-86 Outside with 31,120 milk, 1226 fat and 936 protein at 3-02.
The next dam is an EX-90 2E DOM Leadman daughter with nearly 148,000 milk,
6300 fat and 4800 protein lifetime.

Sire Analyst with Accelerated Genetics sums up Onward’s daughters best,
"The Onward daughters are above average for stature with angularity and
dairy strength. He also adds width at both ends and some slope to the
rump while straightening the rear leg with a steep foot angle. Udders
are shallow (+.93 udder depth) with phenomenal rear udders (+5.75 height and
+6.21 width), snug fore udders (+2.75 fore udder attachment) with excellent
teat placement (+1.51 front teat placement and +1.46 rear teat placement)
and ideal teat length (+.93 teat length)." His daughters are tall
(+2.09 stature) and deep (+1.47 body depth) being wide throughout (+1.80
dairy form and +2.15 thurl width).
