New PACE Jersey Graduates (8/25/08)

Accelerated Genetics announces four new Jersey PACE graduates, three of which are Jace sons with uniquely different possibilities to improve your herd.

The most exciting new Jersey bull is 014JE00446 Norse Star Jace Triumph-ET.  Triumph is a Jace son out of a VG-87% Lemvig with 26,290 milk, 1164 fat and 968 protein at 2-04, she also landed herself on the Top 200 JPI list for cows..  He was bred by Norse-Star Jersey’s from Westby, Wis.The next dam is an EX-93 Berretta.  He has high production (1637 milk, 48 protein, 65 fat, 113 CFP) he also is a high health trait bull (+2.2 PL) and high type (+1.70 PTAT).  Triumph produces daughters that are tall (+1.10 stature), open ribbed (+1.30 dairy form) with high (+1.40) and wide (+1.20) rear udders, close teat placement (+1.40 front teat placement), and shallow udders (+0.40).

014JE00470 Sr Jace Chief-P-ET is a polled Jace son out of an EX-92% Fair, bred by Spruce Row Farm, Meadville, Penn. He is a high production bull at +1428 milk, +60 fat and +42 protein. At +187 JPI, Chief-P ranks among the top 50 Jersey bulls.  His daughters are medium framed cows with correct feet and legs.

The final Jace son is 014JE00460 Ahlem Jace Epic-ET, bred by William Ahlem, Hilmar, Cali.  Epic is out of a VG-88% Lemvig, the next dam is a VG-88% Berretta.  He sires high components (+.03 protein and +.11 fat), +2.0 PL, his daughters also have good type with incredible udders (+5.47 JUI), and he is +1.90 udder depth.

014JE00437 Will DO Mor Russell, bred by Edwin and Cheryl Ettinger, Kinards, S.C., is a high component, good type Mor son from an EX-91% Avery.  He is +737 milk, +34 protein, +0.04% protein, +66 fat, and +0.17% fat with +1.7 PL.  Russell’s daughters are tall (+1.40 stature), strong (+1.70 strength) with high (+1.10) and wide (+1.20) rear udders with strong udder cleft (+1.10).
