In the "Driver" Seat for Brown Swiss (8/25/08)

Driver DaughterThe Accelerated Genetics PACE young sire program is proud to unveil a new breed leading Brown Swiss graduate. 014BS00314 Hilltop Acres H Driver-ET makes an impressive debut in the Accelerated Genetics active sire lineup. Driver brings a variety of positive traits to our current group of sires.  He debuted as the 3rd highest PBR bull for the breed at +188 PBR.

Being sired by Hussli makes Driver’s pedigree unique. Hussli is a German bred Brown Swiss sire that is well known as a great source of protein and an outcross sire for US genetics. His dam is an Excellent uddered President daughter.  Driver has an inbreeding coefficient of 3.9%, which makes a great outcross opportunity for many bloodlines.

Driver has an exciting production proof. He is a solid milk improver at +853 milk, but he is also great for components. Driver is +.06% fat and +48 pounds of fat, and is also +.08% protein and +46 pounds of protein, placing him among the top bulls of the breed.

Although Driver is great for production, it is his type traits which make him an exciting sire. Outstanding linears for udders along with impressive traits for feet and legs make him a logical choice for improving either area. He sires above average stature and strength and is positive for thurl width.

Top production, great components, outstanding udders, great feet and legs and outcross possibilities all help to put 014BS00314 in the DRIVER’s seat.
