Wisconsin Gearing Up For National Holstein Convention

Accelerated Genetics is excitedly awaiting the arrival of the National Holstein Convention, scheduled for June 23-26 only a few miles away from their headquarters located outside of Baraboo, WI.

This national event is expected to draw in hundreds of dairy producers from around the country. Convention attendees are scheduled to arrive at the Kalahari Waterpark Resort & Convention Center in Wisconsin Dells, WI starting June 23rd. There are also many pre-convention activities and tours that are scheduled June 21-23 throughout some of Wisconsin's top farms and agricultural companies.

Accelerated Genetics would especially like to invite attendees to the National Convention Sale and Meal located at the Heatherstone Enterprises, Inc. in Baraboo, WI on Tuesday June 24th. Expect great food, great cattle and great company only at the 2008 National Holstein Convention!

Wisconsin Jersey Spring Was 'Spectacular'

The 2008 Wisconsin Jersey Spring Spectacular was held April 26th in Viroqua, WI. This year's judge was Ted Smart from Anna, OH who judged 278 animals total throughout the day. Besides the cattle show, the event also hosted an auction with over 100 lots. Accelerated Genetics was also excited to help sponsor part of the Jersey Spring Spectacular by sponsoring the meal at the sale. Congratulations to those winners and below see a list of some of the top honors awarded at the 2008 Jersey Spring Spectacular!

Highly Trained AG Representatives from East USA Visit Wisconsin

Accelerated Genetics strives to stay innovative and provide excellence to their employees. As part of that process, the Accelerated Genetics representatives from the east coast had a chance to gather in Wisconsin for a three-day intensive training session.

Over 45 Accelerated Genetics Representatives gathered in LaCrosse, WI to get updates on a variety of Animal Health Products, such as Tri-Mic 1:50 and SOP. They also were updated on some of great genetics that the company has to offer including 014HO04511 Onward that was just released April 1st. Along with those products and genetics, all the representatives continued their training on advanced reproduction and synchronization protocols.

Besides product training and genetic updates, all of the representatives had a chance to visit the state-of-the-art production facilities and the current expansion of the site's facilities as Accelerated Genetics continues to grow.

Building Projects Continue On Through Muddy Spring

Even with the wet spring that Wisconsin has been experiencing, Accelerated Genetics has continued on with the building process at the Production facilities located in Westby, WI. Completion is scheduled for mid to late summer.

New Building Facilities at the Westby Production Facilities
	The new feeding station has begun to take shape with it's roof structure being set in late April. This building will be viable for storing and mixing feed for all of the sires housed at the production facility.
	This structure will be designated as the new isolation barn which help grow the population of potential sires and be EU qualified.
	The outside of West View 4 is almost completed as of late April. This building will house sires "in-waiting" and can house approximately 50-60 animals.
