Roger Ripley Receives Friend of World Dairy Expo Award

Roger Ripley
Pictured above is Roger Ripley, holding a memorable World Dairy Expo print, along with his wife and family.

Surrounded by family, friends, and many Accelerated Genetic employees, Roger Ripley received a special Friend of World Dairy Expo Award for his contributions this year to World Dairy Expo when he stepped in as interim manager and for all he has done for WDE over the years.

This year's 'Friends of Expo' recipients were honored during a special volunteer appreciation dinner in Madison, where nearly 200 volunteers gathered to acknowledge their contributions and celebrate the dairy show's 41st birthday.

Other honorees include Kim Erb, Bob Hagenow, and Betty and Tami Rotar--who were selected from among the nearly 400 other volunteers who help run the cattle shows, commercial exhibits, youth contests, school tours and Purple Cow Gift Shop during the annual show.

Congratulations Roger for all you have done for
World Dairy Expo and the dairy industry!

Allemann Joins 150,000 Cow Club

Leonard Allemann
Pictured with Leonard Allemann, is Rich and Mary Ann Feldbruegge, owner of the 150,000 cow that Allemann bred September 5, 2007.

Leonard Allemann, Abbotsford, WI, is one of only eleven Accelerated Genetics’ employees to be inducted into the prestigious 150,000 Cow Club.

This award is a huge accomplishment that not only recognizes company employees but also signifies an outstanding goal that is not easily reached by people in the A.I. industry.

Allemann grew up on a family dairy farm in Mondovi, WI where he began with Accelerated Genetics in 1970. Since that time, Allemann has been a dedicated artificial insemination technician, providing producers with timely service and genetic selection for over 37 years in the Abbotsford, Dorchester, Colby, Curtiss, Athens and Stetsonville areas of Wisconsin

Congratulations Leonard on this great achievement!
