Accelerated Genetics Sires Move Into New Barn Facility
 |
The new barn, West View III, has been completed since the middle of August and is now the home to 54 Accelerated Genetics' sires. This facility houses in-waiting sires, ages ranging from 3-1/2 to 4-1/2 years old, and is in the process of qualifying as a EU facility. Intercollegiate Dairy Cattle Judging Contest Coming Soon
The 13th edition of the Accelerated Genetics Intercollegiate Dairy Cattle Judging Contest will be hosted Sunday, September 16, 2007 in conjunction with the Vernon County Fair in Viroqua, WI.
The gracious Vernon County dairy cattle producers and exhibitors have partnered once again with Accelerated Genetics to provide one of the best dairy judging events in the nation. This contest, providing an educational experience on real-world judging competition, attracts post secondary students from two and four year dairy colleges and technical programs across the nation. The quality and diversity of breeds offered at the contest are appreciated as many teams use this opportunity to increase their dairy skills and knowledge of a variety of dairy breeds. In addition to the educational emphasis of this event, it also provides an excellent chance for recruiting summer interns and potential future Accelerated Genetics employees. Accelerated Genetics looks forward to hosting these bright young dairy leaders! |
