World Dairy Expo A Great Success

Wisconsin Farm Hosts International Tour

Accelerated Genetics was proud to host over 265 International guests from around the world. This tour gave a chance for customers and distributors to view top sires from Accelerated Genetics, tour the new semen warehouse and lab facilities, as well as visit a local dairy farm.

The International tour began with a presentation of top sires from Accelerated Genetics and a tour of the newly built semen and warehouse facilities that officially opened in May of 2007. These facilities were built to help the efficiency and growing demand for Accelerated Genetics new technologies, Affirm and Bovatel semen. Following the tour of Accelerated Genetics, the tour group traveled to Valley View Dairy, an impressive dairy facility, east of Richland Center, owned and operated Ray and Sylvia Schmitz along with their son Matt and his wife Heather . The Schmitz family currently operates approximately 650 milking cows and runs 1200 acres of land.

Accelerated Genetics Expo Booths Focus On "Fertility First"

Accelerated Genetics had two booths set up at World Dairy Expo and had the opportunity to meet with producers, customers and distributors from around the world. Here is the summary for World Dairy Expo 2007:

Total Attendance: 67,143 (Last year’s attendance was 65,563)

International Guests: * 2,862 from 89 countries (2006: 2,131 from 80 countries)

Top Five Countries of International Attendance: Mexico (273); Canada (269); Germany (201); Argentina (184); Japan (146)
* does not include International Dairy Short Course attendees

Commercial Exhibitors: 707 companies from 24 countries

World Wide Sires Hosts International Guests

World Wide Sires, partnered with Accelerated Genetics, hosted an International dinner for approximately 600 people from around the world on Thursday night during World Dairy Expo.
A total of 30 countries were represented and welcomed followed by dinner and music held at the
Monona Terrace in Madison, Wi.
